Polyball Download Utorrent Windows 7

Updated: Mar 18, 2020

About This Game GET READY TO ENTER A NEW ERA OF PHYSICS PLATFORMING Polyball is a modern take on classic ball rolling games such as Super Monkey Ball, Marble Madness, and Marble Blast - while taking cues from games such as the Sonic series, Trackmania, and Mario Kart.A BIT ABOUT POLYBALLThere's a lot to do in Polyball -- Challenge yourself or a friend to one of over 60 levels included in the initial release, with plans for many more levels via DLC. If you've got some friends over and are looking for something to play, Polyball's splitscreen multiplayer promises a good time. With classic modes like Battle and Trails, as well as a multiplayer version of the single-player experience, Polyball promises to be a must-have party game.CASUAL, COMPETITIVE, OR BOTHWith global leaderboards built right into the level select menu and pregame screen, you can see where you stand among the worlds best and race against their ghosts. If you're more interested in beating your friends, check out the friends-only leaderboards. Collecting shards during your single-player journey will unlock a vast array of customization options, from different ball models to particle effects. This customization carries over into online multiplayer matches as well as your high-score ghost, with local multiplayer having its own version of the customization system designed for split-screen play.FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLEIf you've mastered every challenge we put into the game, take a look at the Steam Workshop content to face a whole new set of challenges. Community made content will bridge the gap between developer and player as well as provide a steady stream of new content for you to experience. Steam Workshop gives the players a voice, allowing for the mechanics and level designs of Polyball to stretch far beyond what we had initially put into the game. With a built-in level editor easily accessible from the main menu creating content is a breeze, it even supports custom model and texture importing!A BIT ABOUT USThe first full release from digital design practice Studio Monolith, Polyball is an experiment in low-poly visuals and open-ended game design. Our approach with the project was to make the kind of game we used to play, something that had both casual appeal and a limitless competitive ceiling. It was also a genre that we felt hasn't been adequately adapted to the modern world of game design. Our vision was simple: build a game that's easy to pick up, hard to master, and fun both on and off screen.FEATURES 60+ levels and free DLC Powerful customization system Full controller support and keybinding Extensive multiplayer support - online/splitscreen Global/Friends Leaderboards Full soundtrack made by independent artists Steam Workshop Tuned mechanics and balanced levels based on community feedback Mac/Windows/Linux support Alternate language localization Ghosts Steam Cloud Saves Level editor with custom model support Stats display Achievements MULTIPLAYER MODES Trails Battle Split-Screen + Online Story Mode More modes coming soon! 7aa9394dea Title: PolyballGenre: Action, Casual, Indie, Racing, SimulationDeveloper:Studio MonolithPublisher:Studio MonolithRelease Date: 1 Dec, 2017 Polyball Download Utorrent Windows 7 polyball pictures. polyball zürich fotos. polyball ost. orange poly ball. polyball baseball. polyball kosta. polyball garderobe. polyball game. a1 poly ball. polyball 17. poly ball xb mine. polyball uzh. polyball igg. polyball wikipedia. polyball 2018 programm. polyball mac os x. polyball kleidung. polyball in zürich. polyball eth themen. polyball 2016 fotos. polyball pc game. polyball 2019 tickets. a3 poly ball. polyball zh. polyball zurich tickets. polyball 2019 datum. polyball table tennis. polyball eth. polyball kleider. nittaku poly ball. polyball helfer. polyball system requirements. polyball eth 2016. polyball karten. poly ball mallets. baju poly ball. polyball játék. poly ball oyna. hanno 40+ poly ball. poly ball valve. polyball website. butterfly poly ball. hanno polyball. polyball arbeiten. dv8 poly ball. polyball schweiz. polyball juego online. jugar poly ball. polyball descargar gratis. poly ball anchor. polyball 2018 ticket. polyball location. polyball shuttle bus. poly ball download. polyball review. polyball eth 2019. ricardo volleyball. polyball eth dress code. kerotest polyball valves. polyball pitching machine. polyball multiplayer. polyball speedrun. polyball gundam. faber castell polyball m. polyball fotos corner. polyball 2017 video. polyball pc download. polyball badge Intro TL;DR: Polyball is a marble rolling game in a low-poly artstyle with many features where features and exploration are strong, but the gameplay itself is not as deep as others like Marble Blast. Got this game as a key from the developer. Since I have not completed all the game, I also must inform that I've only completed worlds 0-2 (3). This review will be updated as I play more.Gameplay: Best: 7.5, Worst: 4, Innovation: 2 [Mechanics] Solid but not special. Unlike other games in the genre like Marble Blast, there are very few special mechanics, let alone unique mechanics in this game. If you are looking for a game in this genre that's new and unique, you won't get it here. The mechanics besides basic jumping and moving, as far as I've played: instant death, "balance" platforms, booster pads, jump pads. [Design] The game's design can be split into the couple worlds it has right now as well as misc. design. Overall, it's fluctuating but overall okay.: [World 1... Um, Zero] Known as the "Great Forest" in game. And in my opinion, it is great... as it's the biggest highlight of the game as far as I played. As the game has no unique mechanics to really surprise the player with, this world appears to be a start towards trying to take advantage of another thing, exploration. The levels are pretty big, yet for some reason, most are still linear. However, it's still solid. [World 2... Wait, One] Known as the "Volcano" in game... but is more like "Bright Glowing Pizza Land". This is probably the lowest moment of the game, since most levels have the platforms (brown) blend in with the walls (almost the same shade of brown) and also at an angle where you can't exactly see the shape of the next platform! The linearity of the levels get even stronger with this one. [World 3... Er, Two] Known as the "Desert" in game... but is more like "Slowly Shrinking Chopstick Land". The game seems to push away from exploration and go with simple platforming which is fine, but seems misguided since it is of course, simple. There is nothing too bad about this section. [World 4... Actually, Three] Known as the "Space" in game... I've only played around 4 levels. Only problem is the fact that along with the camera jitter, there are so many models on screen it will frameskip a lot. [Miscellaneous] The camera has "mouse acceleration" and if you have a bad framerate or even just a few skips, you will find yourself making 360's for no reason on a frameskip if you're looking around. That screwed me over a couple of times. [Features] Each level has 3 main notable things about them: "shards" (100 points, and you can use them to buy cosmetics in the shop), goal time, and hidden trophies. The game has a lot of customization available to you, including a lot of choices for marble shape/color bought with "shards" found in the levels (graphically annoying when you hit them softly and it still resembles a shard that has not been taken yet). Level selection is completely linear besides the extra levels.Graphics: Best: 7, Worst: 3, Innovation: 0 [Game] It's a low-poly artstyle which has been done before, and it's done well here too... besides the "glowing pizza" zone that I referred to earlier. Nothing too special, though. [UI] Decent. There are some particularly annoying elements, however, like not being able to know if you passed a par time or score, as well as not showing if you got the trophy of that area. It would also benefit from customization options. + Decent otherwise - Bad second chapterStory: 5, Innovation: 0 This game has a "story mode", but there's not really a story. It's more of an excuse to have different backdrops/looks for each level. Not much to say here.Sound: 7.5, Innovation: 0 There are no sound clashes and the music is pretty good and it fits. I especially like the effects when you are going too slow.Replayability: 7.5, Innovation: 3 There is a lot of replayability in the game as with the other games in this genre. You do get to see world bests and their marble-ghost.Overall: 7 Positives + Unique world exploration + Good amount of features + Speedrun-friendly Negatives - Gameplay depth is shallow - Price is high if you aren't going for replayability I recommend this game to - Speedrunners who want more levels - People who would like a small amount of exploration elements I don't recommend this game to - People looking for something new and unique Misc + Devs respond to community. In its current state, I cannot recommend this game unless you are the most casual of players, and even then it's very overpriced. The gameplay its self is okay, but there's a plethora of UI issues and technical grievances:* First of all, this game has no business being 2.3 gigabytes in size. That's just disgusting.* You must access the main menu to switch to a level that is not the next one after what you're currently playing.* You press R to restart a level in the middle of it... but R to go to the next level if you're on the "Level Finished" screen. You must use the mouse to restart in that case. R cannot be rebound. This usually causes me to accidentally switch levels, and switching back is a 15 second process or so.* There's a large delay at the end of a level before it shows you your split. This is terrible for people grinding IL's, which the game seems to be aimed at.* Menu navigation is very slow, especially going to the main menu. This wouldn't matter much if we could change levels without going to the main menu.* The timer for the level starts without player authorization, which makes restarting a frantic rush to position the camera exactly where you want it.* Restarting a level in the middle of it results in an even faster count down to the timer starting that can often end while I'm still moving the camera. Why not just wait for movement input?Overall this game feels more like a cashgrab that was thrown together over a couple of weekends than anything else.Edit: about the game disk space thing, since a lot of people don't seem to get it. 2.3 gigs is a pretty decent space to make a pretty big game, especially for a game that may or may not have been done without the use of any real textures. 2.3, for a game like this, is absolutely massive.. Polyball is.. okay. Relatively solid control and camera scheme. I think I mainly end up disagreeing with the goal of the game which is just time trials. I could probably enjoy it as a race game, or a puzzle game where you try not to fall off and die - and in a way the game tries to offer both of these, but at the same time is just a time trial. It's not whether you survive a difficult trap laden path, it's whether you do it fast enough to get medals to proceed - but clock racing has not really been my personal favourite pastime. From time to time in a racing game on tracks once I'm familiar with them maybe, but even then not for long. There are a decent number of tracks, I didn't get to see all of them, there's some odd customisation choices and some neat ones. May be to some peoples tastes.. I really love these kind of games and this one fills my expectations, just 2 things : I can't change the key bindings in map edit mode, is this because i didn't find the option or because you just can't? And when i go on online multiplayer there aren't any servers, same thing, is this a problem on my side or are there just no players? haha. The most complete "ball rolling" game right now. Lots of modes. However, it's early state means the game needs polish and of course more levels.Gorgeous graphics. Pretty enjoyable game. Guide your ball in 3rd person perspective to the goal and pickup stuff to enhance your visuals. Levels start off easy and relaxing but get hardcore pretty fast. It's community driven so I'm sure it will get variety a pretty long time.. Polyball is a game that sells itself well for what it attempts to be. take my review lightly for this game is in early access, and I'm going to treat it like a full release and im going to try to make you hate it, if you can read this and still want to play it then definately get it.Polyball claims to be a game breaking into a new era of physics platforming; this game is a physics platforming game but definately no new era, and although alike with other games such as Super Monkey Ball and Marble Blast, it is not alike in the way that counts or the way that makes the game viable as a headrunner in this category.Physics and ControllsThe physics of the ball that you have controll are a good amatures attempt at being realistic. You start off moving slow with a small acceleration rate, this rate greatly increases via angles and uninterupted movement, the problem is, you start off too slow and eventually go too fast, its not natural, its not realistic, the simulation of a rolling ball is way off. Although the ball interacts with the sculpted low poly levels without major issue on a platforming base, the ball itself you can only assume is made of wet sponge; In the first few levels you have a lot of freedom to roam around, too much freedom but freedom that can be used for a few tests; i.e. Rolling my ball down a large slope ignoring obstacles (by memory) to finally slam my ball into a large stone construct and finding one of two things happen. The ball reacted as it should have and bounced farily hard and high off the rock object like objects do when forces collide. The ball flopped onto the rock and with the least amount of spring or kinetic force and thumbled away with only a fraction of height and power.Which one of these two results were correct you ask? "shouldn't it be obvious?" I respond with my question. It's 2, 2 is correct. To be fair on the controll side of things, I only used a controller my second time playing this game and it was an improvement, A very Good Improvement, it did play better.when I fell off a slop and landed in water, I expected to sink, but you float! this isnt a bad choice and its part of the game so i can accept it for whatever they were going for. but now it makes me think every time I landed in that small pond conveniantly placed and almost impossible to get out of, that I was absorbing more and more water into my spherical sponge I seem to be controlling; because I mean, a ball that floats is a ball that normally bounces at least a little bit, right? yes, A:yes. The game just doesnt have good physics for what its trying to sell itself as,"Get ready to enter a new era of physics platforming."the controlls don't feel in sync with the ball you controll with all the momentum feeling like it was inspired by the character frames in the origional prince of persia."Polyball is a classic ball rolling game"you can jump, ill be it not so well in succession like I personally wanted, but you can jump! this was a selling point in one of the seemingly paid reviews I read prior to bying polyball. this is a game in early access, but it's a game that they decided to release as early access. If I were a game developer and hadn't perfected my controlls or physics engine for a physics bassed ball game then I wouldnt release it even in alpha. Why buy a physics game thats level of dificulty comes from the undevelopped movement and a poor physics engine. I would prefer to play a game that was made to be hard for your skills to overcome, not a game that was made without skill(speculation) thats hard to play.Speaking of developingGame World and CameraThis game looks like it was developed in the game creation studio unity using the most basic free script to make the world into a low poly "paradise". Like i said before "if I were a game developer" which I most certaintly am not, but if i were; This type of game would be in my portfollio as one of my first projects. Sure there are some amazing games out there in this niche catagory, one of my all time favorite games is Marble Blast Ultra, I found a port of it on PC ripped from the XBL-arcade because I enjoyed it so much, but knowing the very very few things I do about unity, and being able to pick up that Polyball has seemingly put little to no effort into their physics and movement(speculation) (which look like they're straight from the unity template), doesn't surprise me at all if they created their level development and camera scripts straight from the basic unity templates.I don't mean to drag their name through the dirt for this, but at a $14.99 asking price, and for Early Access being at that price, they're really grabbing you by the polyball aren't they, I don't blame them they have no competition, but they haven't done it right. The game starts off with the camera on a very high sensitivity but it doesnt work from camera controlls. I almost wish I could take the jaggered movements from the camera and swap them with the momentum of the ball, even without the realistic slows and stops for the character it would be a funner game and I would be able to see what I'm doing. Along with the high sensitivity, the camera will go through the floor and the objects around you blocking your vision, not as much as a 5 minute marble prototype from unity, but still much too much for a game worth over $3.As for the world, despite the first few levels being straight forward; in contrast, they're also very vast, open, empty and if you accidently move the mouse too fast causing the camera to jolt around, the levels become confusing because once you loose your place it can be difficult to know where to go. this game doesn't need a map or waypoints, this game needs better level design and a new system of rendering. This isss coming from someone who has played only a small number of levelsYou know in games like GTA5 and.. others, how they have that effect when you are going really really fast and the screen blurs and you cant see so well anymore? this game decided to do that, I can only guess as both an effect and to help render the low poly level around you, but like mentioned in a spoiler up at the start of the review, I couldn't complete a level based on my skill, but only bassed on my memory. if you want to speed through a level that allows you to speed, then you will almost certaintly have had to play that level before despite its dificulty level. It is too difficult to play a skill bassed game as most "Racing" "Phyics" bassed games are meant to be played when they obscure your vision from a very early point onward.A person said they could record at 60FPS 1080p, I myself didnt check this seeing as I don't care about recording this game, but if i did care.. half my footage would pick up blur.In the end I do think this game is worth a shot, once they finish it and its on a humble bundle with some other games you want, may it also be an insentive to pick up this little clay ball of a gem, give it an hour and come back to tell me I was wrong only to realise this review was written in early access.I LOVE the idea of a new physics platforming game in the vein of Super Monkey Ball, Marble Madness, and Marble Blast, I LOVE marble blast and I've watched tons of lets plays of super monkey ball. but if I ever wanted to play Polyball while its like this, I would instead put that time into doing a 30 hour teach yourself corse on coding and make my own Unity default ball rolling sim for my own portfolio. On second thought, I only played the first few levels and looking at the trailer it actually looks amazing! I guess they're good at trailers :DI'm going to give it another shot, they've sold me again, ignore my review. My review takes cues from Mario Kart8.5/10[. Best ball game I've played on steam. It has 50+ levels and more to be released. Some levels need tweaking but the majority of them are well done and fun to play. Devs are open to ideas and I'm looking forward to new levels and current ones being changed around as well as the multiplayer to be released. All around a lot of fun to play and grind leaderboard times can't wait for the full release :). in a way, this is the true successor to marble blast ultra that we never got, but it's so much more, the aesthetic of the game is superb and the customization is very fun, and it's very polished and has good options for lower end computers. damn near perfect!10/10. Great spherical rolly game! Reminds me of super monkey ball on the gamecube. I'm only half way through the 60+ levels and they just keep getting more difficult and diverse. Just what I love! Well worth the asking price if you enjoy a good challenge that isn't infruriating.
