About This Game Stitched is a horror adventure game that strings together the thrilling story of Catherine Stockholmes, an otherwise ordinary girl. I actually enjoyed the voice acting, but it can be a bit repetitive. The puzzles were engaging, but I felt they sometimes got in the way of the story. (especially when I got stuck...lol). Overall decent game.. I really wanted to like this game. So much. The concept sounded absolutely amazing. My friend and I played together since we often have these horror game nights together. We both couldn't finish it because the game feels more like a chores than a fun experience. The map was completely useless and we always ended up lost trying to find the keys and where to go next. The characters were fine, but not really lovable. I enjoyed the drawings though, and the fear of blood seemed like a good idea on paper, but it ended up extremely annoying, and just a stupid easy way to die as it was hard to see the blood on the floor. The chasing scenes were fine, but once we finally left the place and we were outside, it started to become annoying. And gosh, what annoyed me the most were the puzzles. Not bad in any ways, but it's not realistic how they are placed. Why is there a 'who drink what' puzzle in a middle of a room in a laboratory?? It just took me out of the experience. I expected more puzzles like 'find a number to open a door from the papers or dates' or 'the key is on the top shelf and can't reach it' since they make more sense where she is. It just really broke the story for me and felt like an escape room.I really wanted to love it. But I won't finish it. I have no more fun playing it, and I don't care much for the story line, which is undeveloped and cliché.. A simple puzzle game with really good artwork and haunting story. It's deffently worth your time an money.The puzzle arn't verry hard but they require some thought and have a good verity. It's got fantastic art throughout and constantly changes itself up to keep in interesting. It dose a good job of not letting you get lost but establish a nice art.It would be scarry except there isn't too many charecters so you never really feel like anyone is in any danger. If I had any sugestion for the devs is to add a couple more charecters so that when you run into a severed head it'll have more of an impact when you knew that charecter.. First off I can really appreciate the length of this game. Definitally feel like I got a lot out of the money I spent. This game has quite alot of enemy encounters which is something RPG horror games can be skimpy on but here theres one around practically every corner which is exactly how I like it. The little stuff I didn't like would be how alot of the enviornments are very similar and cluttered. I also feel the puzzles are a little too frequent for my tastes. It stops the game alot when the puzzles are lined up so close to each other. But overall for such a small title it is definitally a good pick up.. Don't get me wrong, I like this game.But...It quickly stopped being scary after the somewhat predictable scares and repetitive gameplay.The bear for instance, you have to run from multiple times and after multiple attempts each it gets tedious.The saving grace of this are the ample save locations so at least you're not often re covering much ground.I haven't beat it yet. I'll get there...gotta say I swore loudly when getting out of the facility appears to be as tedious as the facility itself.. All of the characters are well written with unique personalities, but there should be more back story for each of the side character. The multiple endings are a plus. Out of all the endings, I like the secret ending the most.In term of gameplay, the game consists of puzzles and chase sequences. Some of the puzzles are well thought out and cleverly designed while others are those standard puzzles that are similar to Pokemon game. The chase scenes are decent, nothing too frustrating for me.The horror atmosphere for the game is spot on, there are many moments that I felt scared of my surroundings. The music complements well with the atmosphere, fitting the theme of a survival horror game. Although, one thing that could be nicer to have is if there are more variety of dolls and environments.The art for this game is very beautiful, the character busts and cut scenes are well drawn, although it seems the art quality of the flashback scene doesn’t match up to the rest of the game. The implementation of the cut scene arts was interesting and that’s one of the reasons that kept me interested. That and I like unlocking artworks in the gallery.While the game has small flaws here and there, I can see that a lot of effort and love has been put into this. Overall, this is a solid game for me as there is a ton of contents for the amount of money that I paid and I’m looking forward to any title from this developer in the future.. Would be fun, I imagine, if it didn't cut off the bottom third of the screen upon launch.. I understand this is made w/ RPG Maker, but it's terrible to play, Fullscreen is not true full screen, the option, just removes the Window outline and fills the rest of the screen w/ black, but resolution/screen size is the same. It could be a good story, but I won't play enough to find out. It's 2018 there's no excuse for a game not to run fullscreen with resolution options.
