About This Content The Class 455 EMU is typical of the new generation of multiple units introduced in the 1980s to replace aging and out-dated ‘heritage’ units. Designed for use on Southern branch-line and suburban services with numerous stops and little need for high top speeds, the Class 455 runs in 4-car formations up to a maximum speed of 75mph, and remains a familiar sight around South London and all along the Southern network. A total of 137 Class 455 sets were produced, and with regular refurbishments taking place the type is still playing its part to keep Southern England moving. The Class 455 for RailWorks 2, developed by Thomson Interactive, includes 3 liveries, accurately reproduced drivers cab and controls including functional DRA (Drivers Reminder Appliance), independent wiper selection, functional glare screen visor and opening cab windows (animated in-cab and external view), and all-new sounds recorded from a real Class 455.IncludesClass 455 4-car train (DTSO/MSO/TSO vehicles)British Rail Blue & GreyNetwork SoutheastSouth West Trains4 ScenariosGuildford BoundSunday ShuttleEnd of ShiftPushing the BoundaryPLEASE NOTE: The Portsmouth Direct Line Expansion Pack is required to play the scenarios included with the Class 455. 1075eedd30 Title: Train Simulator: Class 455 EMU Add-OnGenre: SimulationDeveloper:Thomson InteractivePublisher:Dovetail Games - TrainsFranchise:Train SimulatorRelease Date: 28 Jul, 2011 Train Simulator: Class 455 EMU Add-On train simulator southern class 455/8 emu add-on. train simulator southern class 455/8 emu add-on Bought this DLC but cant find it in my train list so quite afew scenarios wont work! Says on steam i've bought it but not in game need to know who to complain to. Pre AP SP:Nice little EMU for the PDL. My only complaint for this one is the sounds. But alteast when I buy the AP soundpack it will sound better.Post AP SP:above review still stands, sounds are better, although there's not much you can do with this scenario wise...14\/17. The Class 455\/9 is a great addition to Train Simulator, I have had this since 2012 and I still regularly use this in my scenario creations and just driving it in general! It is always a nice touch to see one coming around the corner, into platform 1 or 2 at Guildford! Overall, I would rate this 8\/10- the sounds could be improved. However, with the AP sound pack installed I'd rate this 9\/10.I'd like to see more functions in the cab for it to be 10\/10.. This train is okay, comes with many liveries but it shows it age and some stuff is realy bad about it.. can not find it in my train libry. I have mixed feelings about this pack. It's good in some ways but bad in others. However, I feel that the bad things about the train prevail over the good things about it, so, at an extremely pricey $19.99, I can't recommend this.ProsThe outside model is excellently done, and so are the sounds and physics. The train comes in 3 liveries, SWT, NSE, and BR Blue. Usually, other trains come with only one.ConsThe textures in the cab are an utter joke. They are barely readable and are all pixelated. The train doesn't have a passenger view.No quick drive consist is provided; you have to make one in the consist editor. (Not REALLY bad but it's a huge inconvenience for scenario makers)Headlights aren't fully selectable.Scenarios, in my opinion, are too short. There's no cab lighting, so if it's night outside, the cab is pitch black.Summary: Really, the model is the only good thing about the train. The textures in the cab are terrible and its quality is the complete opposite of the exterior's. I can't recommend this at full price, but if you want it, buy it ONLY during a sale when it's extremely cheap.Model - 9\/10 (outside)Model - 1\/10 (inside)Sounds - 7\/10Physics - 5\/10Features - 4\/10, there really isn't muchEffort - 3\/10Final rating: 4\/10. its old and looks like a 313 but heres a secretit has the best horn
